Michel Mahy

Flemish artist Michel Mahy published his early comics in the magazines of the publisher Averbode, but then left the comics field for a long time. He returned to comics in 1981, when he joined the 'Bessy' studio of Willy Vandersteen in Antwerp. A little later on, he began his own series, 'De Spookjes', which he continued until his suicide in 1991.
